On November 10, the Senate Appropriations Committee released its drafts of all twelve spending bills for the FY21 federal budget. The Senate Appropriations Committee Vice Chair Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) described the bills as a bipartisan starting point for negotiations to develop a finalized federal budget based on what the Senate has released and the budget passed by the House of Representatives over the summer.
