The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) updated its guidance on reporting COVID-19 test results. This updated guidance will go into effect on April 4, 2022. Specifically, beginning April 4, 2022, COVID-19 testing facilities that test under a CLIA certificate of waiver are no longer required to report NEGATIVE results for tests authorized for use under a CLIA certificate of waiver, which includes PCR and antigen tests.
