The Substance Abuse and Mental health Services Administration (SAMHSA) released the 2023 National Survey on Drug Use and Health results, including two infographics highlighting overall findings and findings by race and ethnicity. The data showed that in the past year, 23% of adults had a mental illness, 3% of people misused opioids, and 32% of adolescents received mental health treatment.
